Megan Corbett

Megan Corbett has been involved in the Te Tai Tokerau Northland art community since returning to Whangarei in 1992.

Megan is an artist and printmaker whose work has been widely exhibited and travelled in print exchanges. She has been involved in several print symposiums and was chairperson of Te Kowhai Print Trust and Whangarei District Council’s Creative Communities Scheme. Other boards Megan has been on include Uku North the national potter’s Northland conference and the LAC committee for Northtec. She has also taught print and creativity workshops.

Megan and husband Barry Squire have an art gallery and picture framing business. Hangar Art and framing was founded in 2006 and has regular exhibitions by New Zealand artists. Megan is a trained picture framer, with a BAA from Northtec.
