Prominent artist Jo Hardy exhibits a riotous collection of paintings at Hangar Gallery. This is a deliberate personal rebellion on the artist’s part against the soulless, machine-made, mass produced, production-line, unsustainable, profit-driven, planned obsolescence which abounds now in the empty consumerist hazardscape we call a world.
Sadly Jo Hardy died in July 2016, this was to be her last solo exhibition. She is remembered for her eccentric personality and her incredible talent. Her legacy abounds in the more than 660 paintings she created in her lifetime.
